We got excellent value for our money at Vistadrake Lodge. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a huge balcony and stunning views of the jungle. The location was perfect, just a short walk from various restaurants and the main beach. The staff, especially Emilio, were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, providing us with great recommendations and organizing activities for us. Highly recommended!

We stayed in a lovely villa surrounded by beautiful rainforest. Extensive deck with hammock and patio chairs for wildlife viewing. Sparkling clean with laundry, AC, and helpful owner. Great location and comfortable amenities.

Great value for money with a simple, rustic, clean and comfortable bungalow. The location was perfect, situated between the beach and the Main Street, and the private deck with chairs and a hammock provided a breathtaking view. The family that runs the place was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The beautiful patio overlooking the forest was a great spot to relax. The location was convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the lobby and close to the main beach. Emilio, the owner, was extremely helpful and accommodating, coordinating breakfast times with our excursion departures and providing excellent suggestions for things to do in Drake.

We had an amazing stay at this lodge! The host, Emmilio, was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the boat landing. Our triple room in the main building was simple but clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The best part was the breakfast, which was delicious and made even better by the owner's attention to detail. Emmilio was also very helpful and honest about the diving options in the area. our experience at Vistadrake Lodge was fantastic!

We stayed at a roomy and comfortable cabina perched on a hill with an amazing view overlooking Drake Bay. Watching scarlet macaws fly by and enjoying sunsets from the three hammocks on the covered deck was truly memorable. Emilio and his family were always available and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the cabina was perfect - right in the center of Drake, yet calm and peaceful. We were surrounded by lots of wildlife, including monkeys and various bird species. Emilio also owns a nearby farm where volunteering opportunities are available. Highly recommended!

The only downside is the lack of air conditioning, although this is common in the area and the nights are cool enough.

I recently stayed at a charming lodge in Drake Bay for 4 nights. The owner, Emilio, provided excellent cabina rentals and organized incredible night hikes. As a third-generation owner, Emilio's knowledge and passion for the area shone through. The rooms truly represent the essence of Costa Rica, offering the best views and a prime location. They were secure and provided safe parking. The fridge and freezer were surprisingly efficient, even freezing rum. The villa I stayed in was 800 meters from the beach and reception, offering a quiet escape. It had air conditioning, a kitchen, TV with Netflix, good WiFi, and a washing machine. Emilio was always available for alternative suggestions and was friendly and knowledgeable about local tours. The helpful staff at Vistadrake Lodge went above and beyond to tailor my trip to my needs.
